Bolt Circle Diameter is the diameter of the circle formed by the centers of the chainring fixing bolts. With 4-bolt cranksets, this is easy to measure. 5-bolt cranks are more difficult.

Nevar Star 52-tooth 128 BCD Chainring. Used

Earlier versions (think 70s Bike Boom) of the Nervar Star crankset used a proprietary 128mm bolt circle diameter. Later versions have 122 BCD rings, the same as traditional Stronglight. These rings are 128 BCD.
