Thun-Coronado Cranksets

The Alfred Thun company has been producing bicycle parts since 1919. In 1950 the German firm began making cranksets. Coronado was a Thun component brand.

Today the Thun firm focuses on the manufacture of bottom bracket sets.

This crankset has 170 arms and a 130mm bolt circle diameter.

Rings are 42-52.

We believe this crankset was produced in the mid-1980s.

Thun products are well-made.

The crankset from the back. It uses a square-taper spindle.

The chainrings clearly have a lot of miles left in them.
