Campagnolo Gran Sport front derailleur, 28.6 (1 1/8") clamp-on.
These are difficult to date, but we're guessing late 1950s. It should be noted that these is NOT the less expensive Valentino front changer, which was produced in the 1960s and early '70s. These are a vintage Gran Sport. There are design clues that allow us to write this with certainty. The bolt fixing the cage to the pushrod is on top, not facing forward. And the hole where the pushrod leaves the derailleur body is plain, not with a reinforcement.
We have two of these rare derailleurs: #1 | #2
Campagnolo Gran Sport front derailleur #1: $150.00
Part# FD-01-01
We took pictures of this derailleur in two different sessions, that why the pictures look very different. They are of the same changer.
A superb example of an early Campagnolo front push-rod derailleur

Campagnolo Gran Sport front derailleur #2: $120.00
Part# FD-01-02
The original hex-head fixing bolts have been replaced with allen bolts.

Campagnolo Record 1052/1 front 28.6mm clamp-on derailleur with cable stop. Used, $150.00/each
We believe this version with the integral cable stop in the body, no circlip, one lightening hole in the inner cage and chromed bronze arms was produced from the mid-1960s to 1967.

Campagnolo Nuovo Record (1052NT) clamp-on 28.6 front derailleur, made about 1982-1983. Used, $65.00
Part# FD-08-01
This is an updated version of the original Nuovo Record Front derailleur. It's a bit slimmer and has been lightened. Note the holes in the cage. In fact, this version is referred to as a "Three Holer" by some vintage component afficianados. Official weight is 95 grams. This version was produced 1979? - 1985
Campagnolo Nuovo Record (1052NT) clamp-on 28.6 front derailleur, made about 1982-1983 #1. Used, $65.00
Part# FD-08-01
Mid-1980s Campagnolo Nuovo Record front derailleur
Note this era's production has the "Wings" logo instead of the Campagnolo/Globe logo.
But, this one is different from most Nuovo Record front derailleurs of this model. Its front seat-tube clamp-band has almost straight top and bottom edges instead of the usual pointed center section. This is a rare (but not unknown) deviation from the regular production.
Campagnolo Nuovo Record (1052NT) clamp-on 28.6 front derailleur, made about 1982-1983 #2. Used, $75.00

1986 (approx) Campagnolo Victory braze-on front derailleur. Used, $50.00/each
Part# FD-20-02
Campagnolo redesigned its components in the mid-1980s. The new groups were Triomphe, Victory and C-Record, C-Record being the top, professional group. Victory offered nearly the same performance as C-Record, still with superb finish but reasonably priced. Braze-on Triomphe are almost identical to Victory front derailleurs. The nicer frame fixing washer gives the Victory away.
In great condition with perfect chrome.

Our Victory clamp-on front derailleur has had very little use. It's perfect for the 1980s steel bike restoration project.
Victory components were very nicely finished.
The double-hinged clamp makes it easy to know this is a Victory and not a Triomphe derailleur
Campagnolo Victory triple 28.6mm clamp-on front derailleur. Used, $100.00/each
