Campagnolo Vintage headsets on this page: Gran Sport

Campagnolo began making headsets in 1956. This first Campagnolo headset was initially called the Gran Sport, then renamed Record and was assigned part number 1039. It had loose balls and was made into the 1960s.

• Threads are 1" x 26.4mm, standard for a 1" headset.
• We believe, though not to a metaphysical certainty, that this is a 1040A Gran Sport headset.
