Shifting: Adjusting Campagnolo 11+ speed rear derailleurs
Note, before you dive into working on your shifting, this is work we love to do. If you'd like us to dial in your bike, give us a call or shoot us an email. Our contact info is at the top of the page.
Here are some trouble-shooting solutions Campagnolo has suggested for dialing in the shifting of 11-speed (or more) systems:
- Check the plum line distance between the hanger and the axle, which should be 4-8mm. If this measurement is outside those dimensions, it will be impossible to get precise shifting.
- Check torque on lock ring 50nm or 442 inch lbs.
- Check that the cassette spacers are not broken.
- Start adjustment in middle of cassette. Shifting up and down, one gear at a time, not straight to the higher or to the lower cog.
