- All used wheels that we offer for sale have been overhauled. Some have been re-built with new spokes, bearings, cones, hubs or rims, according to their needs.
- Quick-release new wheels will be provided with a skewer.
- All wheels, new or used, have been trued, tensioned, and bearing tension adjusted
- Axle bearing tension performed.
- Important: Mavic hubs use radial cartridge bearings, which allow the bearings to continue to load when the wheel is at an angle.

Wheelset built with Mavic 501 32-hole hubset/Mavic 700c Open 4 CD rims. Used, $600.00/wheelset
Front wheel: Built with DT 15/17 gauge butted spokes built cross 3, alloy nipples, with Velox rim tape. Wheel weighs 920 grams
Rear wheel: 130mm wide, built with DT 14/17 gauge butted spokes on the driveside with 8 brass nipples on drive side, the rest of the drive-side spokes are alloy. Non-driveside is built cross 3 with 15/17 gauge butted spokes and alloy nipples. The rear wheel weighs 1,000 grams

Here's the Mavic hub showing the mirror spoke assembly. In this picture the inside spokes on both flanges are pointing in the same direction, as of course, are the outside spokes.
