- All used wheels that we offer for sale have been overhauled. Some have been re-built with new spokes, bearings, cones, hubs or rims, according to their needs.
- Quick-release new wheels will be provided with a skewer.
- All wheels, new or used, have been trued, tensioned, and bearing tension adjusted
- Axle bearing tension performed.
Specialized 700C Saturae HC20 36-hole wheelset. Used, $1,000.00/set
- These rare OEM wheels came on a Specialized Allez SE bike of the mid-1980s. They are perfect for an Allez SE restoration project.
- They are in good condition with no hops or bends or signs of over-tensioned spokes. The front rim shows very little braking while the rear rims does show some
- Hubs are sealed-bearing cartridge Specialized hubs using sleeve nuts.
- Rear hub is 126mm
- Rims are hard-anodized 36-hole Specialized Saturae HC20.
- Wheelsmith 14-gauge spokes, built cross 3.
- Rear wheel has Velox rim strip.
- Wheelset weighs 2,140 grams
- Front wheel with quick-release is 1,040 grams
- Front wheel without quick-release is 960 grams
- Rear wheel with quick-release is 1,140 grams
- Rear wheel without quick-release is 1,020 grams
