• Del Tongo sponsored a cycling team from 1982 until 1992. It was Del Tongo-Colnago 1983 - 1985
• In 1983 Del Tongo-Colnago rider Giuseppe Saronni won the Giro d'Italia.

• Made in Italy.
• With some interruptions, soft-drink maker KAS sponorsed a Spanish pro team from 1958 to 1988.
