We have a huge stock of vintage and modern parts. Contact us!

Handbuilt frames and complete bikes, new and used. Also unicycles

We might have more Italian hand-built frames than any other shop in the west, as well as many bikes and frames from other nations. If would like to discover how beautifully a bike can ride, come on by and test ride one of these works of art. If you don't see what you are looking for, please give us a call. Posting our stock on-line is a work in progress and there are lots of bikes and frames we haven't put up yet.

Important note: All used bikes South Salem Cycleworks has sold, and is selling, have been completely overhauled.  Fresh grease in the hubs, bottom bracket, headset, and any parts necessary have been replaced.  No bike is sold with questionable parts.

We do not have an on-line shopping cart at this time. Please call us: (503) 480-2001 or email: sscycleworks@comcast.net

We have posted a list of bicycle steel tube sets' weights and gauges here.
And at the bottom of the page we have a 50-year old magazine article on bicycle frames made with exotic materials.

For fun, here's a blast from the past, an article about exotic frames printed in 1975:
