Raleigh Bicycle Company is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world, founded in 1885. For much of the company's history, Raleighs were produced in Nottingham, England, in what was at one time the largest bicycle factory in the world. In recent years, the firm has changed hands several times and is now owned by the Dutch Accel group.
