Emily K wool-blend short-sleeve jerseys on this page: Size 1 (XS) Blue-yellow horizonal banded | Size 1 (XS) Blue-yellow vertical banded
Emily K jerseys were produced by Emily K Celmins in the 1970s and 1980s.
Her husband Mike was a Pan-American Games Gold Medalist, national record holder and builder of a few superb frames, including Rory O'Reilly's Kilo bike for the 1984 Olympics.
Santa Barbara at the time was a bicycle-crazed city and Emily's jerseys reflect that passion.
The clothes were sewn in a workshop next to Emily's house in Santa Barbara, California. Her 30% wool/70% polyester jersey fabric was loved by cyclists for its long wear combined with the warm-when-wet character of the wool fibers. Emily knew about young riders and said it was her intention to make good, comfortable clothing that was "bachelor-proof".
