Vittoria Shoes were started in 1978 by former professional racer Celestino Vercelli. Vercelli had ridden for some of the greatest teams of his era, including SCIC and Brooklyn. For generations Vercelli's family had made shoes, so his starting a cycling shoe company after retiring from racing was a natural. All of our Vittoria shoes were hand-made in the Vittoria shop in Biella, Italy.

Making Vittoria cycling shoes is a family business. Here Mrs. Vercelli, wife of founder Celestino, inspects and packs shoes.

Vittoria Racer shoes have three velcro closures and extra reinforcement for the upstroke.

• Compatible with 3-bolt Look, Shimano SPD & SPDR-style cleats
• The upper is Lorica and high-density nylon mesh
• Sole is nylon/Carbon composite
• The injection-molded heel cup is padded
• Padded arch protector
• Padded tongue
