- It will work on those with the spare tire centered to the back of the vehicle
Here is the manufacturer's description: Designed for use on vehicles with a rear spare tire carrier, the XP 2-Bike Tire Mount Rack from Swagman attaches securely to your center or side tire mount with a dual retention system. The bike rack incorporates the same rotating cradle design to level the bikes for increased ground clearance as other Swagman XP racks and comes with a locking knob for added security.
Kraton wraps in the cradle provide a scratch-free ride for the bikes and increased grip. The cradles can accommodate up to a 2-inch frame tube and the rack offers a carry capacity of up to 35 pounds per bike. To better position the bikes to the center of the vehicle, the rack can be mounted on center mount spare tires or on side mounted spare tires.
The XP Spare Tire Mount Rack fits all applications with the exception of the Toyota Rav4 2006/2007. An additional backing plate (sold separately) is required for use with the Toyota Rav4.

This carrier's steel construction provides lasting toughness and cushioned cradles on the arm rotate to keep wheels level to the ground, providing improved ground clearance. Additionally, the cradles help provide a scratch-free ride for bikes by using thick Kraton vinyl cushioning with large grooves, which prevent bike cables from rubbing on the frame. They also work to prevent bikes from rocking back and forth during transit.

The Swagman XC2 hitch mount platform rack is our most compact and budget friendly rack! The XC2 is the perfect entry level hitch mount rack for the weekend or occasional cyclist. This platform hitch mount rack will allow you to carry 1 or 2 bicycles.
The rack fits into both 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers and has sliding wheel hoops that fit 20"- 29" wheels.

The Swagman Chinook is a great rack that fits most frame sizes and shapes. The Chinook hitch mount bike rack comes with locking ratchet hooks to secure your rack to the vehicle and keyed alike locking threaded hitch pin to secure your bike's frame to the rack.
The Chinook was designed with ease of use in mind to include features allowing you to tilt the rack away from the bumper of your vehicle so you can better access the rear of the vehicle, even while loaded with bikes.
