SR-SunTour 170mm offset left crank arm. Used
- "Offset" refers to rotational axis of the square tapered spindle hole. It means that the sides of the hole are lined up with the crank arm rather than usual practice of having a point of the square pointing towards the pedal. A glance down this page at other maker's crank arms will make this clearer.
- This crank arm should only be mated with an offset right crank. Otherwise the arms will not line up.

- Produced from 1967 until sometime in the early 1980s.
- This crank arm has 14mm x 1.25mm French pedal threads. If you don't have French-threaded pedals (and they are getting rare), for $15.00 we will tap the arm out to the more standard 9/16" x 20 English threads.
After the Campagnolo Record, the Stronglight 93 might have been the most popular racing crank of its time.

It's nice of Stronglight to stamp the length and pedal thread on the arm. This has French 14 x 1.25 threads, which are easily tapped out to standard 9/16 x 20.

We don't know who made it, but the maker clearly has seen vintage Campagnolo cranksets and surely took his design inspiration from Campy.
