Oschner Bicycles

Note: This bicycle is sold

Ochsner International has been an important part of the American professional frame and component business for decades. The firm has been the importer for Eddy Merckx, Colnago, Campagnolo, Assos, DT and nearly every other important prestige name in cycling.

In the 1980s the company imported Ochsner-branded framesets made in Switzerland that displayed superb workmanship. We believe they were made for Oschsner in the small Royal shop, but cannot state that fact with metaphysical certainty.

54cm Ochsner Columbus Aelle bike (or frameset): $800 complete bike; $400 frameset; $500 for the parts kit, including wheels.
54cm seat tube x 54cm top tube
As noted above, this is available as a frameset or complete bike. The Campagnolo Victory equipment kit on the bike is also available separately.

The tubing used on this frame, Columbus Aelle, is a cold-drawn chrome-moly tubing. Wall thickness of this straight-gauge tubing is 0.8mm

Wheels have Campagnolo Victory hubs with DT 14/15 spokes laced to Mavic ModE3 36-hole rims. Turbo Saddle is mounted to what looks like a traditional Campagnolo Record seat post, but it could be Gran Sport. Freewheel is a Regina 6s CX-CX5, 14-24t
