May 13, 2020: Chainrings for Trellises

I’m constructing trellises for clematis and trumpet vines using steel chainrings and rebar.  A lot of grinding off rivets, bending and cutting rebar, and having Jay Clark, Wellington Unltd. weld the pieces together. 

A little bit of math involved, but a good use of Biopace steel rings and ones designed for 1-piece cranks!

This does scream, "A bikie lives here!".
